6-Volt VRLA Battery for High Rate Discharge Applications

By Staff Author | February 2, 2004

EnerSys expands its DataSafe NPX line of VRLA batteries with the addition of the NPX 35-6 battery for applications which require high power for short intervals. The battery provides 30% more power than conventional batteries with an equivalent footprint and voltage and was designed to meet the high energy needs of a wide range of UPS and general electronics applications. The battery meets standards such as UL approval, IATA certification for air transport, and US DOT classification for non-spillable batteries. It operates in any position, and has a design life of three to five years at 25&#176C.
