Aeris Communications announced new customers for its machine-to-machine (M2M) wireless network.
The customers include CalAmp, which sells technology monitoring services, and GeoTab, with similar services as CalAmp but for the transportation industry.
CalAmp will sell Aeris-certified CDMA versions of its LMU-4100 Location Messaging Unit and LandCell 819S M2M devices. CalAmp also sells its devices under the SmartLink, Aercept, LandCell and Omega brands.
Meanwhile, Geotab aims to help large fleet operators by integrating an Aeris connection option into its real-time database devices, providing details about purchasing, specifications, device management, network performance, billing details and customer support.
Aeris also announced a deal with alarm company RACO earlier this week.
