Will Smith popularized getting jiggy with it. Now Alltel plans to drive getting nuTsie with it.
nuTsie is a service developed by Melodeo that lets users listen to playlists from their iTunes libraries on their wireless devices. Yesterday, Alltel announced that its subscribers can use nuTsie on 10 of its wireless handsets. Besides accessing their playlists from their wireless devices, Alltel customers also can share their lists with friends across the Internet and on their mobile devices.
The way the service works is it streams songs not from the user’s PC but rather matches the songs in a user’s library to licensed songs stored in nuTsie’s servers.
The service costs $4.99 a month or $19.99 for 1 year.
