Apple acknowledged a problem within iOS 7 affecting iMessage and has said it’s looking into fixing it.
The Wall Street Journal pointed to a statement from Apple where the company noted the issue with messages not being sent through iMessage and indicated a fix would be coming in a future iOS 7 update.
iOS 7 was released on Sept. 18 and has seen enormous adoption rates so far, with Apple announcing that more than 200 million Apple device owners had already downloaded the update.
Since the release, Apple has already rolled out one update to address a security flaw that could allow someone to bypass the lock screen passcode.
