Xerox today announced that Luca Maestri, executive vice president and chief financial officer, is leaving the company, effective February 28, to assume the role of corporate controller at Apple.
Maestri will replace Betsy Rafael who left Apple in October.
Ursula Burns , Xerox chairman and CEO, called Maesrti a “stellar finance executive” who contibuted to the “transformation of Xerox into a services enterprise.”
“He’s helped strengthen our financial foundation, which will serve his successor, our company and our shareholders well for the long term,” Burns said in a statement.
Maestri joined Xerox as CFO in February 2011 after serving as chief financial officer of Nokia Siemens Networks since 2008. Prior to this role, he held senior executive finance positions with General Motors Corporation. He is also a board member of The Principal Financial Group.
