AT & T Announces Corporate iPhone Plans

By Staff Author | January 22, 2008

AT&T has begun offering business plans for Apple’s iPhone. Many of the plan’s details mirror those of regular users. For instance, business users will need to sign a new 2-year contract or renew an existing 2-year agreement.

The exclusive iPhone carrier is offering three business plans: the Enterprise Data Plan for iPhone 200 includes 200 SMS messages for $45 per month; the next level offers 1,500 SMS messages for $55; and unlimited SMS messages for $65 per month. All three business plans come with unlimited domestic data and visual voice mail.

AT&T is offering a $25 service credit per month through the end of the year for enterprise users who sign up before March 31.

In related AT&T news, the carrier has inked a content deal with The New York Times that will allow its wireless customers access to full content of the newspaper’s mobile site at no extra charge.

“Consumers want immediate access to breaking news, and a wireless handset is a powerful tool for staying connected and informed, regardless of where people are,” said AT&T’s Vice President Of Consumer Data Mark Collins, in a statement. “The New York Times is the most trafficked newspaper Website in the country, and we’re giving our customers an easy way to connect to it through AT&T wireless devices.”
