AT & T Announces Samsung Netbook

By Andrew Berg | November 16, 2009

AT&T and Samsung today announced the upcoming availability of the Samsung Go, a new netbook. The Go comes installed with Microsoft Windows 7 Starter Edition.

The Go comes equipped with a standard 4-cell 4000Ah battery, which translates to four hours on a single battery charge and the built-in Intel Atom processor delivers the power. The Go also features an ATOM processor, a 3-in-1 memory card reader, 1.3-megapixel Webcam, 3 USB 2.0 ports and a 160GB hard disk drive.

AT&T currently offers two AT&T DataConnect plans for netbooks, including a 200MB plan option for $35 per month or a 5GB plan for $60 per month. AT&T DataConnect plans come with free use of AT&T Wi-Fi service, which include more than 20,000 hot spots nationwide.

The Samsung Go is available beginning Nov. 22 through AT&T retail locations or online for $199 after a mail-in rebate and with the purchase of a 2-year AT&T DataConnect service agreement.
