Verizon Wireless may be the country’s biggest carrier based on subscribers, but it added fewer wireless customers than rival AT&T in its second quarter.
Verizon Wireless added 1.1 million net customers in the second quarter, falling behind AT&T’s 1.37 million net additions.
The carrier’s subscriber additions were reported today along with parent company Vodafone’s reported key performance indicators, which include its proportionate share of Verizon Wireless’ net customer additions.
Verizon’s full second-quarter financial results will be reported on Monday.
