AT&T has brought out the Samsung Rugby, a new rugged, military-grade flip phone for businesses that use on-site field services. It is certified to military spec to withstand dust, shock, vibration, rain, humidity, solar radiation, altitude and temperature extremes.

Rugby supports EDGE, HSDPA and UMTS networks, offers Bluetooth 2.0, and push-to-talk, integrates Assisted-GPS for the preloaded AT&T Navigator software and provides AT&T’s Video Share calling.

The device offers a 2-inch display with 128×160 resolution, a 1.3-megapixel camera and integrated 128 MB of memory.  It also features a rubberized and metal casing and is available in black, deep burgundy and construction yellow.

Rugby is available for $129.99 with a 2-year service agreement and after a $50 mail-in rebate.
