AT&T Thursday announced a new one-day data pass for tablet users.
According to a statement from the company, the new daily pass will cost $5. The carrier did not say how much data would be included with the pass.
The announcement came as AT&T also announced that Tesla, manufacturer of all-electric vehicles, has rolled out advanced connected cars with AT&T.
Tesla is using AT&T’s wireless M2M solutions to enable two-way vehicle communications, remote engine diagnostics, and infotainment features.
The announcements were made by AT&T’s Senior Vice President of Emerging Devices, Chris Penrose, at GigaOm’s Mobilize Conference in San Francisco Thursday.
