Battery Maintenance Systems

By Staff Author | October 8, 2001

Christie Electric Co., a division of Marathon Power Technologies Company, announces a special trade-in program for current RF80-H, RF80-GT, Superceder, or PCA 131 users. With a trade in, qualifying customers can either receive $500 towards the purchase of a new RF80-K or U-60, or they can request that Marathon donate their old unit to a trade school. This program provides an exceptional opportunity for current users to upgrade to the latest Christie battery management systems, which offer features like automatic operation, cell voltage balance testing, and self-calibration.

The robust RF80-K, the industry’s most comprehensive and powerful battery charger/analyzer, offers advanced servicing of NiCad and lead-acid batteries. Features include automatic operation, unique ReFLEX(r) charging, exclusive DigiFLEX(r) analysis, cell voltage balance testing, and constant current and constant potential charging. Additional benefits include one hour charge/discharge and advanced reconditioning for NiCad batteries.

Christie’s UNIVERSAL 60 is the industry’s most user-friendly battery management system, featuring digital current setting, self-calibration, and exceptionally easy-to-use setting and indicators. In addition to providing accurate, professional results, UNIVERSAL 60 offers 60A charge and discharge, duel battery charge capability, high precision processing, and affordable pricing for the servicing and maintenance of Lead-Acid and NiCad battery chemistries.
