BlackBerry today launched Secure Work Space for iOS and Android, which extends BES10 capabilities to separate work and personal apps and data on iOS and Android devices.
The BES10 server software is free to download, with annual client access licenses for Secure Work Space running $99 per year per device. BlackBerry said BES10 is also available as a 60-day free trial bundle including 50 EMM Corporate CALs (providing device management for BlackBerry 10, iOS and Android devices) and 50 Secure Work Space CALs.
The solution, which will compete directly with other device management providers like Airwatch and SAP, extends BlackBerry’s reach beyond its own platform.
BlackBerry said it’s working with enterprise app partners such cloud storage company Box, which will integrate with the service for secure cloud-based storage.
