BlueAnt today announced a voice-controlled Bluetooth headset using speech recognition chips from Sensory.
The BlueAnt V1 Top of Formlets users pair the headset, make and end calls and adjust the volume. BlueAnt includes a shirt clip, foam tips and rubber ear plugs, along with noise reduction, echo cancellation and wind noise protection, the company said. Users can also perform any voice actions that are inside the mobile phone itself.
Other features include upgradeable firmware, car/phone/USB charging options, support for up to 8 devices, 5 hours talk time and 200 hours standby time, Bluetooth 2.1 and a 2-year warranty. The headset’s suggested retail price is $129.95.
