CaribeVision Television Group is working with Tactical Wireless to develop interactive television via text messaging as a way to strengthen viewer loyalty.

CaribeVision viewers will be able to send their opinions and comments to #95057 from any wireless device with SMS plans.

Currently, the service can be used with primetime shows El Show de Susana Gimenez, Hollywood Cafe and In Fraganti.

“Television has found in mobile technology an ally delivering to the audience not only entertainment, but also immediacy,” said Daniella Valeriano, Tactical Wireless representative, in a statement.

CaribeVision Television Network, which reaches more than 7 million households, serves the entertainment, news, sports and information needs of both Hispanic and general audience viewers who have an interest in the culture and lifestyle of the Caribbean.
