Cricket Communications, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Leap Wireless, announced the addition of Motorola’s RAZR V3s tri-band device to its expanding lineup. The tri-band functionality includes AWS spectrum support. (Earlier this year, Cricket released its first CDMA/AWS handset – the UTStarcom CDM7126.)
RAZR V3s features VGA camera, Bluetooth, speakerphone, voice recognition, voice-activated dialing, a 176×220 65K TFT color internal display, a 96×64 4K CSTN external display, predictive text and an embedded antenna.
Cricket services available on the RAZR V3s include unlimited text and picture messaging, Cricket games and apps and Mobile Web.
RAZR V3s is selling for $199 at Cricket retail stores and dealers.
