LAS VEGAS—Ringleader Digital is switching it up, ditching its ad network and focusing on its technology platform.
CEO Bob Walczak says the company is “refining” its business strategy. The company always has been technology focused since its inception, and now it’s time to focus on the core competency, he says.
The company sold its ad network to Kristine Latronica at Access Mobile Advertising; she’s a former Ringleader Digital ad sales executive. Access Mobile Advertising will be the first ad network to use Ringleader’s Spark Platform.
Walczak says there are advantages to no longer having the ad network component – no channel conflicts with other ad networks that will be its clients now rather than competitors.
Under the new strategy, Ringleader exclusively licenses its platform and solutions to publishers, ad networks, agencies, brands and analytics companies as either a bundled solution or on an à-la-carte basis.
Ringleader’s solutions include RLD Spark Server, RLD Real Time, RLD Network Manager and RLD Special Ops. Specific Ringleader Digital technologies available for licensing include RLD Spark Server, RLD Media Stamp, RLD Context Extractor and RLD Device Detector.
