Michael Dell is talking about that highly anticipated Dell mobile Internet device (MID) again. This time, he wasn’t out back of the World Economic Forum in a snow storm. (See video below.)
Dell yesterday gave a keynote at the Citrix Synergy conference in San Francisco, where he surprised the audience with a quick one-minute demo of what he called the “Streak” (aka Dell Mini 5). A video of Dell’s keynote was posted on Citrix’s website.
Perhaps most surprising, Dell gave some specifics on availability for the device. He said the Streak will be available in June on O2 Telefonica in Europe, and then later this summer with AT&T in the United States.
Few specs are known about the device beyond the fact that it has a touch screen, runs the Android operating system and has a 5-megapixel camera.
