LAS VEGAS—EarthCam, provider of international webcam content, unveiled a range of offerings including syndicated content of live streaming video of international landmarks, local traffic and weather-to-consumer webcam applications.
Earthcam is probably best-known for its original “My Live Webcam” application that allows customers to keep watch over families or pets, or monitor their homes, offices and personal property remotely.
Earthcam Mobile currently has installed hundreds of cameras in its webcam database. With this “network” of webcams, subscribers can view famous resorts throughout the world or view the action at hot spots such as Bourbon Street, Times Square and the Las Vegas Strip. The company also provides beach views such as Miami, Venice, Calif., and Waikiki, Hawaii; scenic wonders from Niagara Falls to Patagonia, Chile; and views such as the Statue of Liberty, Big Ben, and the Kremlin on Moscow’s Red Square.
EarthCam offerings are available in Java/J2ME, Windows Media, Quick Time and WAP formats.
