Emerson Network Power Connectivity Solutions Achieves Occupational Health and Safety Certification

By Staff Author | September 5, 2013

Bannockburn, IL [September 3, 2013] Emerson Network Power has announced the Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) 18001:2007 certification at their Chelmsford, U.K. facility.

Emerson Network Power Connectivity Solutions has gained their certification for OHSAS 18001:2007; following an audit which took place at the Chelmsford location. This is both a positive reflection on the business, and the hard work that all employees have put into certifying this location. The health and safety record for the Chelmsford location is at its highest level and has only been achieved through the efforts of the employees.

“This certification recognizes the business as having a health and safety management system that meets the OHSAS 18001 standard, an internationally recognized assessment specification for occupational health and safety management systems,” states Valerie Bentdahl, health and safety specialist at Emerson Network Power Connectivity Solutions in the U.S.

“More importantly with this certification, it makes a statement about this business and the standards that Emerson Connectivity holds in regards to health and safety,” stated John Pennick, quality manager at Emerson Network Power Connectivity Solutions in the U.K.

A follow up audit for this standard is set for December 2013.
