MetroPCS Communications, Inc. today announced the launch of the Spirit 4G, a 4.5-inch touchscreen Android smartphone from LG Electronics. The Spirit 4G features  4G LTE connectivity for $199 after mail-in rebate with no annual contract.

Flowfinity Wireless Inc., a provider of enterprise mobile applications, today announced that it will support the BlackBerry 10 platform with the upcoming release of Flowfinity Actions 7.0. Flowfinity software allows business users to create mobile apps without programming that streamline operations and enable two-way information transfer between mobile devices and enterprise systems.

Quantenna Communications, Inc., the provider of video networking for whole-home entertainment, today announced that Swisscom started deploying to its broadband customers in Switzerland a new Quantenna based WLAN product: Magic-Box, which is a dual concurrent dual band router. The product features Quantenna 4×4 802.11n MIMO technology. It enables wireless streaming of video content throughout the home to multiple TVs as well as to tablets and smartphones.

Meru Networks, Inc., a provider of virtualized wireless LAN solutions, today announced that Essa Academy in the UK has deployed a Meru Wi-Fi network based on the Meru Education-Grade (MEG) wireless platform to connect more than 2,000 Apple devices issued to teachers and students.
