FirstNews Briefs: Amdocs, Sprint, LeapFrog, Fitbit, Mozido

Amdocs announced that Sprint has extended its managed services deal with Amdocs for its billing and customer care systems, and selected Amdocs Convergent Charging to rapidly create and monetize mobile data services.

LeapFrog Enterprises, Inc., a provider of educational entertainment, today unveiled LeapBand, a wearable activity tracker designed just for children. The LeapBand activity tracker gets kids moving with 50 different activities and challenges, tracking a child’s physical moves so the more active a child is, the more points they earn with their virtual pet.

Fitbit, Inc. today unveiled a new red Fitbit Flex activity and sleep tracking wristband in support of the American Heart Association’s (AHA) Go Red For Women movement. Throughout the month of May 2014, Fitbit will donate $10 for every red Flex tracker and $2 for every red Flex band sale to the AHA.

Mozido, a provider of white-label, cloud-based financial services for mobile phones, today announced that Zuckerberg Media CEO Randi Zuckerberg has been named to Mozido’s Board of Directors.
