Verizon Enterprise Solutions has added new features to its cloud-based Mobile Workforce Manager solution and signed a resale agreement with MobileIron, a global provider of enterprise mobility management. Now available to medium and large organizations in 30 countries and territories in Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Americas, Mobile Workforce Manager also offers local billing, currency and support options. The new features include: secure workspace for supporting ‘Bring Your Own Laptop,’ expanded control for managing mobile applications and a simplified user portal.

Verizon Wireless is to deploy Alcatel-Lucent‘s data management platform throughout its network, helping to support the carrier’s LTE expansion.
