Nuage Networks, the Alcatel-Lucent start-up venture focused on SDN (software-defined networking) solutions announced that CTCC, the Cloud Computing Branch of China Telecom, has selected its SDN technology to help deliver scalable, self-serve public cloud services in China’s cloud computing market.

Nuance Communications, Inc. announced that it has partnered with CT-IN to deliver a new cloud-based voice messaging solution in Vietnam with Vinaphone, a mobile network provider. As a result, Vinaphone’s mobile subscriber base of more than 30 million people will have access to a voice messaging system that will provide them with both recorded audio messages and their transcriptions. The launch also marks Nuance’s first ever voicemail-to-text deployment in Asia.
