AT&T and IBM are extending AT&T NetBond services to the SoftLayer platform. This extension of the IBM and AT&T alliance will allow businesses to create hybrid-computing solutions. AT&T Virtual Private Network (VPN) customers can use AT&T NetBond to connect their IT infrastructure to SoftLayer’s cloud services. The service allows customers to benefit from secure connections.
RF Micro Devices, Inc. and TriQuint Semiconductor, Inc. revealed that the holding company under which the companies will combine in a merger of equals will be named Qorvo, Inc. The companies also unveiled the new Qorvo logo and stock trading symbol, which they will begin using immediately upon closing of the merger.
