AT&T today announced its single SIM solution meets the new GSMA specifications for the use of multiple operator profiles on a single SIM. AT&T’s global SIM provides global service management platform with advanced diagnostic tools, smart process automation, machine monitoring, and alert/response capabilities; global wireless M2M connectivity with access to hundreds of carriers worldwide; integrated compatibility with global networks; flexible solutions that provide best-in-class services; and  it’s designed and built to the GSMA specification for remote provisioning.

RadioShack Corporation today announced the appointment of Holly F. Etlin as interim chief financial officer, replacing John Feray.  Mr. Feray resigned on September 12, 2014, citing personal reasons. Ms. Etlin, a managing director of AlixPartners and longtime RadioShack advisor, served as RadioShack’s interim CFO from July 2013 to February 2014.

Spirent Communications plc announced it has acquired Mobilethink A/S (“Mobilethink”) and its wholly owned subsidiary, Tweakker ApS (“Tweakker”) for a cash consideration of $20 million, funded from existing cash resources. Headquartered in Aarhus, Denmark, Mobilethink is a provider of mobile device management, device analytics and intelligence solutions for mobile operators. Tweakker is a cloud-based mobile device configuration solution specifically targeted at Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs).

ZTE and German network operator E-Plus have announced that they are cooperating on the deployment of an IMS (IP multimedia services) based core network infrastructure. This will be the basis for a commercial voice-over-LTE (VoLTE) service in the E-Plus network.
