FirstNews Briefs: AT&T, T-Mobile, Ruckus Wireless, Bitglass, Jawbone

On July 25, AT&T will offer GoPhone Nokia Lumia 635 at a launch price of $99.99. Starting August 8, AT&T will also sell the Nokia Lumia 635 online or in AT&T stores with black and orange back covers in the box for $139.99 at no annual commitment pricing. The device is available with AT&T Next 18 for as little as $5.84 per month or only $7 per month with Next 12.5. AT&T also announced it will soon carry the LTE HTC Desire 610.

Now through August 12th, customers can get $100 off when you buy an iPhone and iPad together at T-Mobile. Beginning July 20th, T-Mobile customers can take advantage of its EIP extended payment option on all accessories priced from $69-$250.

Ruckus Wireless, Inc. today announced that the City of Mountain View, CA has become the latest municipality to select and standardize on Ruckus Smart Wi-Fi products and technology for its free high-speed wireless public access service.

Bitglass today launched a new cloud solution that enables enterprises to adopt cloud apps while storing corporate data encrypted in their own private cloud. This new solution extends Bitglass’ ability to secure corporate data anywhere it goes — in the cloud, on devices and at the point of access.

Jawbone today unveiled new weight management features for UP. Jawbone’s new food-tracking interface for UP lets you log food and water, assess the healthiness of foods, and track progress toward your target weight. The UP Insight Engine provides guidance around your food choices, calorie consumption and weight goals.
