C Spire announced plans today to acquire MegaGate Broadband, a regional provider of IP voice, data, and business telecommunications solutions. Headquartered in Hattiesburg, MegaGate serves most Mississippi business markets as a competitive local exchange telecommunications provider and as an Internet service provider.

To connect with Wienermobile vehicle fans on and off the road the Oscar Mayer brand today launched the first-ever Wienermobile mobile application for iOS and Android devices. Available in the Google Play or App stores for free to download, the Wienermobile app will include three features: a “Find the Wienermobile” section where users can determine when a Wienermobile is within 200 miles of their given location; a “Park in my Driveway” section where fans can insert an image of the Wienermobile into any photo and share across their social media platforms; and a “Drive the Wienermobile” game that allows users to virtually race a Wienermobile through various courses.
Huawei recently announced that its GSM-R solution has won the bid for the Turkmenistan Buzhun-Serehtyaka and Bereket-Cilmammet integrated railway communications project, which will soon commence. Following the successful implementation of GSM-R technologies in Turkmenistan’s Turkmenbasy-Ashgabat (east-west) Line and Cilmammet-Buzhun (south-north) Line in 2012, the new project marks another deployment of Huawei’s GSM-R technologies in the Turkmenistan railway industry.
