• Bridgewater Systems is providing Scartel LLC, with a WiMAX service control solution to support advanced IP services being offered over a mobile WiMAX network in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Scartel will deliver mobile Internet access with speeds of up to 10 Mbps under the brand name Yota.  The solution will let Scartel support high performance subscriber management functions such as authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA) services. Bridgewater is providing solutions to more than 10 WiMAX service providers, including Sprint‘s Xohm.

• Axesstel signed a distributor agreement with GetWireless and received an initial purchase order for its MV440 EV-DO Rev. A gateway with Wi-Fi router.  Shipments are expected to begin in October.  GetWireless is a Minneapolis-based, value-added distributor of cellular-based solutions.  Under the terms of the agreement, it will distribute Axesstel’s full portfolio of fixed wireless voice and broadband data products in North America.
