FirstNews Briefs: Recipero, Sprint, Moki, Sionic Mobile, Drizly

Recipero has announced that it is teaming up with Sprint to help prevent the trade and sale of stolen consumer electronics, including Sprint smartphones. All Sprint retail buyback portals now employ Recipero’s CheckMEND online intelligence tool to help identify mobile devices that have been reported lost and stolen. The agreement will also provide consumers and law enforcement greater access to Sprint data on lost and stolen phones through Recipero’s CheckMEND and law enforcement solutions. 

Moki, a provider of mobile app security and operations, today announced that its kiosk app MokiTouch is available for extension via the Apache License 2.0 model. This move further positions Moki to help developers and businesses using tablets as kiosks.

Sionic Mobile, an mCommerce company providing mobile marketing, gifting, payments and rewards, today announced it has added and now features the the ability to pay with Google Wallet in its ION Rewards app for Android, available for free in Google Play. 

Drizly, Inc., the smartphone app for alcohol delivery, today continued its American expansion with announcements that it is now available in Brooklyn; and that the Drizly app is now available for Android phones via Google Play.
