Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and KT announced that a commercial eMBMS (evolved Multimedia Broadcast and Multicast Service) will be made available to KT’s LTE subscribers using the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 from January 27. Samsung partnered with KT to provide its eMBMS network equipment and solutions in support of the service’s rollout. eMBMS is a new LTE technology that enables multiple users to simultaneously enjoy HD quality video service for an enhanced multimedia consumption experience.

Sprint today announced the availability of LTE service in 40 more markets nationwide – for a total of 340 markets spanning the country.

AT&T and Equinix are working to speed up the adoption of cloud services. The companies today agreed to embed AT&T NetBond into select Equinix data centers. AT&T NetBond enables customers to connect to their cloud services using their private AT&T VPN networks.

Wilson Electronics, manufacturer of cellular signal boosters, today announced that the company’s AG Pro Quint indoor cellular signal booster has achieved Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certification and is now available for purchase. The AG Pro Quint is the first signal booster certified to meet the FCC’s new technical standards.
