Samsung Telecommunications America, LLC (Samsung Mobile) has unveiled Samsung 360 Services for Business, an offering that addresses the ongoing technology support, management and service needs of enterprise customers. Samsung 360 Services offers a suite of services to enterprise customers encompassing mobility support, enterprise mobility management (EMM) and value added services for deployment, security, applications and device care. Samsung is piloting 360 Services with multiple Fortune 1000 companies in preparation for a global launch in early 2015.
ContentGuard, a subsidiary of Pendrell Corporation and a pioneer of content protection technologies, today introduced Yovo, a new ephemeral messaging app that makes the photos and messages that we share disappear. Yovo allows users to protect pictures and messages from undesired screen captures via a patent-pending scrambling technology. Users can also blur photos and selectively choose who can discover what is behind the blur, and set self-destruct timers for photos and messages from one second to 24 hours. Yovo allows users to share time-based and protected content with friends across social media, including Facebook and Twitter.

The Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), an association representing the manufacturers and suppliers of communications networks, today announced that it has named Scott F. Belcher to the newly-created position of CEO. Belcher most recently served as the President and CEO of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America).
