FirstNews Briefs: Sprint, Best Buy, Mavenir, FIME, M/A-COM

On April 4, customers will be able to sign up for the Sprint Framily Plan at Best Buy locations nationwide, in addition to Sprint stores, Sprint third-party dealer locations and online at Sprint.com.  In addition, from April 4 through April 13, customers at Best Buy signing up for Sprint Framily who purchase a wireless phone through Sprint Easy PaySM will be eligible to receive a $100 Best Buy gift card.

Mavenir Systems, a provider of software-based networking solutions, announced that it has deployed its IMS HSS-FE (Home Subscriber Server-Front End) system at T-Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT), Croatia’s largest telecommunications company and a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom. The HSS enables T-HT to consolidate subscriber data on a single platform that can provide reliable IMS service delivery and enables next generation services.

Advanced secure chip testing and consultancy provider, FIME, today announced the launch of its Global TSM test tool which will enable trusted service manager (TSM) vendors to validate the interoperability of their solution into the near field communications (NFC) ecosystem.

M/A-COM Technology Solutions Inc. (“MACOM”), a leading supplier of semiconductor solutions for broadcast video infrastructure, today announced six new 12G-SDI products making up a complete chipset to support 12G-SDI applications.
