Transit Wireless and AT&T today announced that the companies have expanded their contract to bring AT&T’s wireless voice and data service to as many as 242 additional underground New York City subway stations on Transit Wireless’ state-of-the-art wireless network. AT&T service is currently available in 30 stations in mid-town Manhattan from Phase 1 of the project as well as six from the Initial Build in Chelsea.
