ARCEP, the French telecommunications regulating body, said it will try again to sell the country’s final 3G license after considering the proposals of 23 parties.

Orange, SFR and Bouygues Telecom currently offer high-speed mobile service in France.  The additional license will not be split up, officials said.

The next step will happen when elected officials decide the financial terms of the license.
