Details for the U.S. release of the Galaxy S 4 are beginning to see the light of day. 

Both AT&T and U.S. Cellular have confirmed April 16 as the date when they’ll start accepting pre-orders for Samsung’s new flagship smartphone. AT&T has set the price at $249 with a two-year contract while U.S. Cellular has yet to reveal pricing details. Neither carrier has set a release date.

But T-Mobile, while confirming the GS4 would cost $99 plus two years of $20 monthly payments, stated the phone would come to their network on May 1.

International Business Times talked with a Verizon store representative who hinted at a June or July release with a price tag somewhere around $199 to $299.

The GS4 is expected to be released on AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Cricket, with MVNO Ting also stating it would be carrying the smartphone on its release date.

The GS4 was announced with a huge production at Radio City Music Hall in New York earlier this month. The phone, predecessor to the Galaxy S 4, is set to arrive with a 5-inch 1080p full HD “Super AMOLED” display showing off 441 ppi; a 13 megapixel camera; a 1.9 GHz quad-core or 1.6 GHz octa-core processor depending on market; 2GB of RAM; and 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of storage.

Comscore’s latest three-month report on U.S. smartphone market share, ending in January, found Samsung holding 21.4 percent of the market, trailing only Apple with 37.8 percent.
