A powerful, cloud-based Java application environment translates data bits into standardized content that describes heat, humidity, shock, vibration or tilt. It is combined with contextual information such as miles to destination and then integrated seamlessly into the back-end systems. Logistics managers can check the status and location of cargo anytime via laptop, computer or smartphone with real time alerts sent via email or text messages when critical thresholds are reached. This allows supervisors and dispatchers to respond immediately and make adjustments that preserve cargo and improve profits.
