The Red Herring editorial team uses a competitive process to select the most innovative companies from a pool of several hundred from across Europe. The nominees were evaluated on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as technological innovation, quality of management, execution of strategy, customer acquisition, market size and integration into their respective industries.
