High Retention Battery Holders and Snaps

By Staff Author | April 30, 2001

Shogyo announced the availability of their new high retention AA, AAA, C, D, and N size battery holders and 9 volt battery holders and snaps. Complete custom design capabilities are available for all items.

Shogyo eliminates battery retention problems in troublesome applications by offering a choice of molded lips, covers, and special materials for their battery holders and phosphorous-bronze snaps. Shogyo battery holders and snaps are also available with special safety covers.

Shogyo battery holders can be ordered in one to ten cell configurations, stacked side by side or in-line, depending on the size and number of cells. Features include pre-fitted mounting holes and standard polythylene, UL 94 VO material or stainless steel housing construction. Options include 150 mm lead wires, 4 or 6 prong snap terminals, tag (lug, solder) terminals, PC mounting pins, switches, and black, white, or metal finishes.

Shogyo battery snaps feature lead wires of any desired length. Options include 4 or 6 prong phosphorous-bronze or stainless steel snaps, straight or perpendicular lead wire attachment (in crimp, rigid, or solder style), 9 volt terminals, and snap-on PC mounting.
