Hinged antenna connection IoT devices to low-frequency LTE bands

By Redding Traiger | January 30, 2023

Linx Technologies (Linx) introduces the ANT-450-HSW, a monopole whip-style antenna for cellular and cellular IoT applications in the 410 MHz and 450 MHz bands, including LTE bands 31, 72, 73, 87, and 88. The latest release from Linx is especially well-suited for metering, utility, industrial, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
The hinged design of the ANT-450-HSW allows for the antenna to be positioned for optimum performance, with detents for straight, 45-degree, or 90-degree positioning. The exterior provides additional UV protection in harsh weather environments. The antenna connects via an N plug (male pin) or TNC plug (male pin) connector.
The new antennas are available now via Linx Technologies’ distributor and manufacturer representative networks.
