HipCricket is working with Univision Communications and Univision Radio to deliver mobile marketing solutions.
HipCricket has worked with Univision stations in the past, but this marks its first corporate-wide deal. “We’re excited about it,” said Eric Harber, president and COO at HipCricket, based in Kirkland, Wash. “It’s a major milestone for us,” working with Univision stations across major markets like New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Chicago.
Univision Radio is a leading Spanish-language radio group in the United States. HipCricket has carved out a niche for itself in working with broadcasters and media companies. It also has a lot of experience reaching the Hispanic market, which includes some of the most active users of mobile technology and text messaging.
In June, HipCricket announced an agreement that brought Spanish Broadcasting System’s (SBS) radio stations into its Hispanic Mobile Marketing Network. The addition of SBS brought its reach to more than 7 million Hispanic radio listeners across the country.
HipCricket has delivered more than 17,000 campaigns for customers, including Clear Channel Radio, Premiere Radio Networks, NBC and Coca Cola.
