Apple today announced that iPad will be available in Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore this Friday, July 23.
There was no word on carrier partners for the iPad in the countries added today. In the United States, users of the 3G model can purchase a prepaid data account through AT&T.
Even as the iPhone 4 experiences some growing pains, the iPad has sold quite well for Apple. According to Apple, the company had sold 3 million iPads in 80 days as of June 22. At that time, the company also reported that 11,000 iPad apps were available for the device.
iPad is currently available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, the U.K. and the United States for a suggested retail price of $499 for 16GB, $599 for 32GB and $699 for 64GB for iPad Wi-Fi models and $629 for 16GB, $729 for 32GB and $829 for 64GB for iPad with Wi-Fi + 3G models.
Apple is due to report its fiscal third-quarter results tomorrow after the market closes.
