The iPhone 4 will be available to customers in China starting this Saturday, including at two new Apple stores, one in Shanghai and another in Beijing.
Apple says the iPhone 4 also will be available on Saturday at China Unicom retail stores for qualified buyers with a new two-year contract.
The iPhone 4 will be sold for a suggested retail price of CNY4,999, or $745, for the 16GB model and CNY5,999, or $893, for the 32GB model without a contract.
Apple started offering Wi-Fi models of the iPad in China last Friday, but there was no word on when the cellular version would launch.
