Jazz Wireless Data Receives 2012 M2M Evolution Product of the Year Award

By Staff Author | August 12, 2013

Honored for exceptional innovation

RALEIGH, NC (August 8, 2013) – Jazz Wireless Data (Jazz) has announced that their M2M Prepaid Solution has received a 2012 M2M Evolution Product of the Year Award from M2M Evolution Magazine, a leading publication covering the machine-to-machine movement.

The innovative prepaid offering is available through Jazz distribution partner Digi-Key. Users will be able to choose from plans that allow for a level of data usage over a period of time. The prepaid offering is supported through a dedicated portal where users can see true real-time data information and receive alerts as they approach the end of the purchased data amount or time. The portal also shows individual data session information, enabling customers to do thorough analysis as they develop their solution. Once the data or time is up, the customer can directly purchase more of either through the portal using a credit card.

“We are honored to be recognized by M2M Evolution for the industry’s only true prepaid service solution,” said Gregor Bleimann, president of Jazz Wireless Data. “We are committed to innovation, in both technology and business models precisely because we’re committed to our customers’ success. This award is a great validation of all our efforts as a team internally and as a partner to our clients.”

“The solutions selected for the M2M Evolution Product of Year Awards reflect the diverse range of innovation driving the machine-to-machine market today. It is my honor to congratulate Jazz Wireless Data for their innovative work and superior contribution to the rapidly evolving M2M industry,” said Carl Ford, CEO of Crossfire Media, a co-publisher of M2M Evolution Magazine.

“It is my pleasure to recognize the Jazz Wireless Data M2M Prepaid Solution, an innovative solution that earned Jazz the 2012 M2M Evolution Product of the Year Award,” said Rich Tehnrani, CEO, TMC. “I look forward to seeing more innovation from Jazz in the future.”

The winners of the 2012 M2M Evolution Product of the Year Award were published in M2M Evolution Magazine and via press release.
