According to the Korea Times, Apple will be upgrading its iPhone this spring. The Times reports that KT, Apple’s exclusive carrier partner in South Korea, will introduce the iPhone 4G to the domestic market in early April.
“We don’t see any bigger hurdle to introduce 4G iPhones here, as legal issues were completely cleared. It’s possible to launch the devices within the first half,” a high-ranking KT executive told The Korea Times on condition of anonymity.
Those quoted said the 4G iPhones feature Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) screens, live video chat, removable battery, a dual core processor and a higher resolution camera.
Apple has announced it will hold an event in San Francisco on Jan. 27 where the company is expected to announce the much-hyped Apple Tablet. Many speculate that the event will also include the unveiling of a new iPhone.
