AT&T is letting customers cut the cord on their landline voice service with its new triple play bundle, which allows users to swap out its U-verse landline service in favor of wireless.
The carrier’s U-verse Choice bundles feature television, Internet and the choice between landline and wireless service. Customers can choose between 450 minutes of wireless service under AT&T’s Nation 450 plan or 250 minutes of landline service under its U-verse Voice 250 plan.
In a statement, AT&T Vice President of Consumer Marketing Joey Schultz said the plan reflected customers’ need for flexibility with their bundle choices.
The plan, which is available until July 17, comes with a one-year contract with a $180 early termination fee if customers cancel AT&T’s U-verse services.
