Sanyo’s Katana Eclipse and Motorola’s Motorazr VE20 are the latest feature phones from Sprint Nextel.
The Eclipse has 40 unique lighting effects that users can activate for alerts and messages, along with more common features such as a camera, TV streaming, music downloads, GPS, a Web browser and a microSDHC memory card slot.
It also comes with stereo Bluetooth support and 4.6 hours of continuous talk time.
Meanwhile, the new version of the Razr includes Sprint’s NFL Mobile Live service, which offers audio broadcasts of all NFL regular-season games with a video options starting in November this year. The phone can run Java software, has internal and external displays and offers 4 hours of talk time.
Officials said both phones are available now and cost $99 after rebates with a 2-year contract.
