Two new antennas from Antenna Factor provide a clever solution to the unique needs of difficult environments such as a vehicle. Designed to mount directly onto interior surfaces, such as window glass or a rear-view-mirror, these compact antennas are easily concealed, minimizing potential theft. Two frequency ranges are presently available to cover a wide variety of licensed and non-licensed applications. Model ANT-900-MHW covers 806-960 MHz while Model ANT-400-MHW covers 400-480 MHz. Both antennas exhibit a 50 Ohm characteristic impedance and a VSWR of less than 1.5 and a typical gain of 2dBi. The antennas are well suited to low-power applications but are capable of operation at power levels to 10 watts. The antennas are supplied with 15 feet of RG-174 coax and terminated in a choice of SMA or RP-SMA connections. Custom cable length and terminations are available for volume OEMs.
