Microsoft on Friday released an update to Bing for the mobile browser at mbing.com, including a new feature for touch phones.

In a blog post, the company said a new version of Bing is optimized for high-resolution touch devices and offers a new Movies features to search for movies by city . The feature works with iPhone, Zune HD, T-Mobile G1, Verizon Imagio and Samsung Omnia. Support for more devices will be added over the next couple of months.

The company says that in addition to being a great resource for local searches, quick answers and maps, Bing for mobile offers an NFL feature that allows for typing in a team or player to see upcoming games, stats and scores. Another feature allows for checking airline flight status.
