Mobile Roadie, a company that makes a platform for creating and managing mobile applications, today announced support for BlackBerry smartphones. The self-service platform is already available for iPhone and Android.
Michael Schneider, CEO for Mobile Roadie, says the platform is more than just another template and allows users to create one app and simultaneously publish to multiple platforms. Mobile Roadie has been the platform of choice for apps promoting Madonna, Taylor Swift, Drake, the Miami Dolphins and Wynn Las Vegas.
“Digital marketers are seeing a massive uptick in mobile content consumption, driven in large part by continued consumer adoption of advanced mobile devices that can deliver sophisticated mobile application experiences,” Schneider says.
Taylor Swift’s app, which was created with Mobile Roadie, already has seen more than a half million downloads and “six figures” in merchandising via iTunes.
The company offers three plans (Core, Plus and Pro), which range in price from $499 to $1,999 for set up, with an additional per month charge that ranges from $29.99 to $99.99.
