Motorola has acquired RadioFrame Networks’ iDEN business. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Motorola says the RadioFrame Networks’ iDEN business will be integrated into its Home & Networks Mobility business. The products from RadioFrame will enhance Motorola’s portfolio of base stations for networks using non-contiguous spectrum that are common outside North America.
Based in Redmond, Wash., RadioFrame provides radio access solutions for Tier 1 mobile operators and OEM partners worldwide. The company is known for its pico and femtocell products that are deployed as plug-and-play solutions.
